Carefully measured ingredients are combined in a specific process to achieve the Jhorts Jerky flavor!
Golden Gate Meat Company High Choice Black Angus Top Round is cut into 1 inch steaks using my homemade cutting board. Then the meat is run through my jerky slicer to get perfect 1/4" strips.
The strips of meat are placed in the marinade for a 48 hours.
After 48 hours in the marinade the meat is taken out using tongs and carefully placed on the dehydrator racks being sure to not overload the trays to allow appropriate air flow.
Jhorts Jerky dehydrates the marinated meat for 12-14 hours @ 160 degrees.
After the dehydration process the jerky is removed from the trays and put into large food grade containers until it gets put into a bag, sealed, and delivered.
